Boujaad rugs are sourced from the Haouz region in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco, hand woven by Berber women entrusted to tell their story through their craft.
Wonderfully vibrant, the colourful Lilah runner is an exquisite example of this, an individual creation that holds the tale of its weaver within its textural threads.
The meandering pink and apricot of the soft textured base form a contrasting backdrop to the vibrant, diamond shapes scattered throughout the design. Varying shades of turmeric, ruby, rose, ochre, jade, plum and lilac inform the symbolic patterning.
This soft, mid-length pile runner is rich in cultural characteristics and is certain to add texture and joy to any space.
Created to tell its own story unique to its origin, each rug uses techniques shared throughout generations and has lived a
life prior to its purchase. Filled with symbolism and colour, this one-of-a-kind piece is breathtaking in its own right!

“Our products feature distinctive characteristics and tell their own unique story, inspired by their maker. Features typically found in these vintage pieces include uneven edges, natural fading and minor repairs. It is these imperfections and wear patterns which add to the character and charm of each piece.”
